AND NOW THEY ARE GOING BANKRUPT!I have fallen into the trap of a company who claims to have great Customer Service. Chadwick’s has no customer service! I placed an order on 9/30/11 and have yet to have received it - today is 10/18/11. Beware, when you order from them and there is ANY problem whatsoever, do not let them convince you that an item has been shipped. They are liars! Bring them to task immediately! I just called there, was transferred to 3 people and never got an answer". I demanded to have the dress sent to me overnight-their answer was they do not ship overnight! I gave them my telephone number and asked for a call within 2 hours-their answer was we cannot guarantee that/. What exactly CAN you guarantee? I believe they have 2 chimpanzees working in the warehouse packing orders?. I am so angry'. I am going to get my attorney involved/. Yes, it will be expensive, but a nice settlement will be worth all the trouble". This company needs to be brought down/. Spread the word - DO NOT SHOP CHADWICKS!!! Oh, and as you can see by this website…Chadwick’s does not participate with this site and will not see my complaint|. Hopefully possible customers will see the post prior to ordering from this derelict company!!! 128292e

I belive they are responsible for charge transactions also.

If you wrote a personal check made payable to : Chadwicks and have cancelled your order, have not rec'd. any merchandise from them,and have not rec'd. a refund here's what to do: 

Contact your Bank and ask for a copy of both front and back of your check. Keep this for your records. 

If the payable line ( on front) is different than the endorsement (on back) ask to file an affadative of forgery of endorsement. 

My Bank said they will attempt to reverse the amount of my Check 1st, then file the aff. if necessary to re-coup my $.

I too, am waiting for a check refund from this company. 

My problem is I sent a personal check with my order last October. My bank told me I have to deal with the Company directly. Bummer. I thought I would be able to dispute this but no such luck. 

I have filed a formal complaint with the Conn. BBB, and just recently submitted a consumer complaint with the Mass. Attorney General.

Placed an order with Chadwicks in August and returned the order. Today is 11/30/2011 and I have yet to receive the refund of $184 from this company. I cannot get through to speak with anybody on the line. This was my first and last time ordering from this company!!

WFFNB ..contact them regarding any credit or issues with Chadwicks. This is how you get your credit back. Tell them you are " In dispute" of the charges on your card. They HAVE to cover and honor any false charges from a company in bankrupcy due to items not rendered. Keep at them, do not give up.

Yes, I know how all of you feel I have been waiting since June for my refund and as of today 11/22/2011 still have not gotten it but I am go to take action because something needs to be done about this company its just not right.
